Pastor Paul is committed to a ministry of teaching and preaching the Word of God. The philosophy of his pulpit ministry is taken from the words from 2 Timothy 4:2 "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season..." As he preaches, his desire is to allow people to leave the service with a message from God through His word. He desires to be as Ezra who caused the people to understand the Word of God.

Pastor Paul has been involved in the pastoral ministry since 1962. He began serving as pastor of Bible Center Church in Paonia in 1965. He has served also in Kansas and Iowa. He and his wife Carol have been married since 1961. She has faithfully helped him in the ministry and continues to serve her Lord faithfully in their ministry. They have six grown children. Kathy, Kristi, Steve, Joel, Karen, and Kimberly

Both Pastor Paul and Carol graduated from Calvary Bible College in 1962 with bachelors’ degrees. Pastor Paul also received his master of ministry degree from Calvary Theological Seminary in 1994.
